EARTH 2160: Online announced

Poland based Reality Pump Studios will finish the long awaited successor to the 1999 award winning real time strategy game, "Earth 2150" in Q4 2002. "We are reaching the beta stage of our brand new Earth-III-engine at the end of the year, and will be setting a new milestone in RTS gaming at the end of next year". says Mirek Dymek, Reality Pump's project leader.

During the development of the recently released "World War III: Black Gold" an enterprising part of the team concentrated on research and development, in the last 2 years, for the new graphics engine, that will reveal an unbelievable new standard, using Beziere curves instead of polygons for objects.

The engine calculates in real time, what level of detail is possible on each computer and displays each object, as detailed as possible and more CPU and GPU capacity becomes available. More details on Reality Pump's Earth-III-engine technology will be revealed within the next few weeks.

Earth 2160 will, primarily be an online RTS title, based on the Earth and the story 10 years after 2150. Reality Pump Studios develops game titles exclusively for the German based games producing company ZUXXEZ Entertainment AG..
