The developers of the award-winning RTS game, Earth 2150 have recently acquired a new name. Effective immediately, the team will go by the name of Reality Pump - Game Development Studios.
Following the purchase by ZUXXEZ Entertainment AG of the former TopWare Interactive AG's game division, the team, which was known merely as the development arm of TopWare's Polish subsidiary, was given the opportunity to create a unique identity. After lengthy internal discussions, the new name was chosen from among several options.
Reality Pump - Game Development Studios will continue to develop titles exclusively for ZUXXEZ. The team is currently finishing up work on World War III - Black Gold, which will be published world-wide by JoWood Productions AG. The planned release date for this promising RTS game is September of this year.
"We looked hard for a name that would properly convey what we do ", says Manfred Morin, Chairman of TopWare Programy Sp. zoo, owner and operator of the studios. "Since our emphasis is bringing ideas to life, we thought Reality Pump would be a nice working name. Under ZUXXEZ we can create our own identity, which certainly helps the creative process."
Based in Cracow, Poland, the Reality Pump team has several hit titles to its credit, including Earth 2140, Earth 2150 and The Moon Project. The team also has several soon-to-be-announced upcoming projects under development.
ZUXXEZ Entertainment is a producer of PC and console games located in the historical city of Worms, Germany. The company recently acquired the games division of the former TopWare Interactive AG, as well as its award-winning Polish development team.
